CONCERN FOR FAMILY AND WOMANHOOD
Campaign for the Feminine Woman
The CFW is a British based non profit charitable organisation. It is a Christian based organisation, the main objects of which are to advance education in, to preserve, to promulgate, and to promote, the proper man-woman relationship, masculinity and femininity, the different sex roles, marriage, and the family unit, in accordance with the Holy Bible, the marriage service in the Book of Common Prayer, and human nature.
The CFW seeks to show the considerable physical and psychological differences of the sexes, the need to treat men and women (and boys and girls) differently, and the great importance, value and validity of the different sex roles: the submissive feminine woman, the natural and important feminine role of wife and mother in the home, and the responsible, protective dominant masculine man. The male-female polarities are an essential part of the individual's ego, and form the basis of love, romance, happiness, the good family, and the good society. Indeed, the very deep-rooted human sex differences are natural and, for the Christian, are of God's creation and purpose. Consequently, the CFW wants to see an end to Feminist/Unisex legislation (by governments), education, propaganda, practices and attitudes, which pervert and undermine the above. In contrast, the CFW wants to see the sex differences fully recognised and enhanced, not ignored, discredited, and perverted, as they are and have been for many years with ever-increasing intensity. The rise and acceptance of promiscuity, unmarried couples, homosexuality, and the perverted same-sex couple situation is a further product of the feminist ethos.
The CFW is not connected to any particular Christian denomination or to any other organisation, but it is supported by men and women (in equal numbers) from all walks of life and of all ages. It therefore invites your support.
FORMATION,
ORGANISATION AND SERVICE
The CFW - Concern for Family & Womanhood (additionally named Campaign for the Feminine Woman) - was founded by David W. Stayt in February 1985, and it follows on from an earlier organisation (solely known as Campaign for the Feminine Woman) which he founded in November 1978 following massive support received in response to the BBC's transmission of a television programme he wrote and produced entitled "In praise of femininity and the feminine woman". Since then CFW representatives have been on very many TV and radio programmes. The CFW is governed by an elected committee and by an elected General Council. The purposes of the CFW are furthered in many ways, including the production of various publications, leaflets and advertisements, the provision of lecturers and speakers (including for TV and radio), and in providing centres for giving advice, practical help, and a counselling service for the public. The CFW relies entirely upon voluntary subscriptions, gifts, and help, for carrying out its urgent task. For 16 years the CFW was a registered charity (Reg. No. 291323), until powerful feminists, who did not like its objectives, obtained its expulsion from registered charity status.
FEMINISM - A CANCER
& PERVERSION
The CFW regards the Feminist movement as a dangerous cancer and perversion in human society which must be eradicated. It not only runs contrary to human nature as seen over a vast period of time, and contrary to modern anatomical, psychological, and other scientific knowledge and evidence, but also contrary to the Holy Bible. Furthermore, its effects have been catastrophic in terms of the havoc and unhappiness it has caused. The Feminists, who consist of both men and women, want to ignore the natural sex differences, and to destroy the natural sex roles and the family, regardless of the fact that these things are the source of most human love and happiness. They want to change human society into a unisex organisation where men and women are interchangeable, and they hope to achieve this by legislation and by propaganda in education and the mass media - propaganda which now goes almost unnoticed due to its continuous and subtle presentation.
THE DIFFERENT SEX
ROLES
Anatomically and psychologically, the sexes are specifically designed for their different, but equally important, roles. The female role is essentially a submissive one and the male role is essentially assertive and aggressive. This relationship is an essential part of the love-making act and is reflected in many spheres of activity. The sexes are complementary, not competitive, and the fact that the man is naturally the dominant one does not make the other an inferior human being as Feminists would have it. The submissive female role is one of creative fulfilment and joy, and is a beautiful human quality not to be denigrated. Praise, encouragement, and support should be given to the submissive feminine woman, and to the dominant protective responsible masculine man.
It is because the natural and different sex roles are being ignored or perverted that there is so much unhappiness and strife between the sexes, and so much marital breakdown and divorce, instead of romance, chivalry, harmony and love. (In G.B. now 1 in 3 marriages end in divorce). With the emergence of those unnatural beings, the assertive aggressive man-aping woman and the weak equality-indoctrinated man, in all levels of society, it is not surprising that proper relationships and values are destroyed. It is the aim of the CFW to remedy this situation as far as it can.
FACTS ABOUT THE SEX
DIFFERENCES
Men and women are different in size, shape, bone structure, tissue and appearance. A man is much more muscular and is stronger than a woman: he can carry, for instance, about three times as much weight. Voice, skin, hair, and metabolism are different too. Women are naturally less aggressive and are more ruled by their emotions: hence women cry and frighten more easily. Men have a stronger sex drive and it is of a somewhat different character to that of a woman. There are very extensive physical, psychological, emotional, genetic and glandular differences between men and women, quite apart from the noticeably different sex organs, their use, and the fact that women produce babies and men do not.
Of the billions of cells that make up the body (including the brain) every cell in the male is different from every cell in the female in a very special way: the nucleus of every male cell carries a Y-chromosome which is absent in every female cell. Glands and hormone production are also different (e.g. testosterone in the male, and oestrogen and progesterone in the female) and these have a profound effect on the whole body and mind, and create masculine characteristics in men and feminine characteristics in women. Men have larger brains (on average) which, together with other differences, give them greater intellectual power or greater potentiality for the development of it. Women have other mental attributes which are equally valuable.
It is because of all these and other differences that women are naturally feminine and submissive, and that men are naturally masculine and dominant; that women are wives, mothers, and home-makers, and that men are the leaders and fighters; and that these differences in creation cause each sex to attract and complement the other. One thing is very certain: masculinity and femininity are NOT the result of artificial stereotyping by society as the feminists would like us to believe. Of course, perversion of the sex roles can be promoted, as indeed it is by the feminist movement, but it cannot alter these basic facts of nature as stated above.
MARRIAGE, FAMILY AND
HOME
Some people seem to regard marriage as some sort of business partnership, but it is not. It is a relationship of love, and happiness is found in the successful fulfilment of the different sex roles. The man is rightly the head of both the woman and the family and should be their protector and provider. The correct relationship and duties are clearly stated by the Apostle Paul when he says: "Wives submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the Church...", and "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ loved the church, and gave Himself for it." (Ephesians Chap.5 vv. 22-25). St. Peter, in his first Epistle (Chap.3), states similarly, and in the marriage vows in the Book of Common Prayer both bride and bridegroom promise to love each other, and the bride also promises to "obey". The truly feminine woman expects and wants to submit and obey in the context of love. She wants a masculine man to insist on his natural dominant role just as much as he does. The masculine role implies and requires not only assertiveness, but also responsibility and chivalry, but no brutality. In their obsession for equality the Feminist movement do everything possible to discredit and undermine these natural, good and proper sex relationships and duties: but it is the aim of the CFW to stop them doing so.
The feminine woman wants to be wife to a dominant responsible man, and to love and please him, and she wants to bear his children, and to rear and educate them in the freedom of the modern home - where she can excel, and also develop various other interests, of which there are many, both inside and outside the home. Only a woman can do it, and it is a supreme achievement of incalculable value to her husband, to herself, her children, and to society. Observance of the correct sex roles as stated above leads to happiness and fulfilment, and to the creation of the good home - which is the most important unit in society. The opposite leads to unhappy or broken homes, and to confused, deprived or badly brought up children, and sometimes even to crime.
FEMINISTS - OUT TO
DESTROY THE HOUSEWIFE
Although there is no more valuable role in society than that of wife and mother in the home, the Feminists of both sexes, from their positions of power and influence in Parliament, in the so-called Equal Opportunities Commission (which is 100% Feminist), in the trade unions, in television, radio and press, and in other places, do everything possible to discredit it and to entice or force every married woman into employment outside the home. This is, and has been, done by various legislative measures, by reducing the husband's ability to support a wife and family (e.g. by reducing working hours and his pay potential, and by taxation - such as by abolishing the married man's tax allowances), by extensive and subtle propaganda, and by providing nurseries where women can leave their children for others to look after (the child's need for its mother's presence being ignored, of course). They make the housewife feel inferior, although in fact the opposite is true.
That a married woman, providing a family with a second income, may be doing a job that could be filled by an unemployed married man, whose family has no earned income, or by an unemployed single man or woman, is totally ignored by the powers that be - such as Parliament and the EOC. Although the EOC boasts of getting more married women into the "workforce", in its obsession for "equality" and to break up the husband-supported wife and family, the very reverse ought to be done - especially in a situation of unemployment.
With ever advancing technology the total number of hours required to be worked in a country becomes less and less, and therefore any necessity for married women to "work" should become almost nil. Legislation should support and encourage the responsible masculine man and the dependent feminine woman.
It should not be construed that the CFW is against unmarried women having paid employment, or that married women, when circumstances require it, should not have paid employment.
DIFFERENT PERFORMANCE
AND ABILITIES
In sport, certainly in most ball games and athletics, women cannot give the same performance as men. It is only because we DO operate sex discrimination (separating the sexes for the benefit of the women) that women can ever win. Sex discrimination is NOT the dirty word it is so often made out to be. It simply recognises the sex differences. In some activities, such as wrestling and body building, women make disgusting fools of themselves, and it is a reflection of a sick society that people (including governments) should encourage these man-aping women who pervert womanhood - which should be symbolised by grace, beauty, gentleness and femininity, not by masculine toughness, stamina, and brawn.
In many forms of work, men and women give different performances and show different aptitudes. In the police force, for example, it is sheer nonsense to say (as the absurd Sex Discrimination Act requires) that a policewoman can do the same as a man. She cannot possibly cope with the male drunk or the violent male criminal, nor do night foot-patrol duty, without relying on male police protection. Similarly in a police cordon, she will always be a very weak link in the chain. Our equality-obsessed M.P.s are, by their laws, not only giving young women a totally wrong image of themselves but are putting them at risk and wasting public money. Yet it is a sign of the success of the unisex propaganda that most male police do not object to this situation, nor to the women receiving equal pay for unequal work and performance.
The Y-chromosome in the male cells induces greater variety and extremes, and it is consequently the male who produces the highest achievements in art, science, philosophy, and music, as well as more of the intellectually sub-normal. Due also to the Y-chromosome, and their different physical and psychological make-up, men are naturally the leaders and fighters. On the other hand, women are normally more "average" than men. They are better at the verbal skills (e.g. languages) and with their fingers, and, above all, with all forms of nurturing - hence their excellence in dealing with children and in nursing. Women also have a closer and very special relationship with their own offspring, and their maternal instinct is strong.
THE SEX
DISCRIMINATION ACT & EOC
Both would be ludicrous (with their perversion of the English language in providing "milkpersons", "chamberpersons", "chairpersons", etc) if their real purpose was not so sinister. They seek to destroy the natural sex roles, and they deny the Britisher the freedom of advertising for a "milkman" or a "manageress" for example, or of taking sex into consideration when filling a post however important this factor may be to him, or relevant to the job. Worst of all, the purpose of the Act and the EOC is to entice girls and women into every conceivable type of work, except of course work of a feminine nature (e.g. general nursing) into which they endeavour to entice boys and men. There is now positive discrimination in favour of women and against men in many fields of activity, in legal cases, and in occupation (e.g. medicine), which is totally wrong. This harmful Act and the EOC should be abolished.
OCCUPATIONS WOMEN
SHOULD NOT DO
Because of the physical, psychological and emotional make-up (see under "Facts about the sex differences") women should not take on, or try to take on, weapon carrying, violent or power roles, nor roles where strength, great stamina or danger are involved, nor other male orientated work or roles. It is also fundamentally unnatural to put women over men. All such things are incompatible with true femininity. The latest feminist obscenity is the demand for "a woman's right to kill", and in some countries they are letting women into combat roles in the armed forces. One wonders what perversity makes some women want to do this, or even to be in the armed services, and what perversity makes men encourage and allow it. The very nature of the armed services make them suitable only for the masculine man.
For men to want to put women in positions of power etc (as mentioned in the above paragraph), as many men do, clearly indicates emasculation (self induced or otherwise) on a large scale, an astonishing refusal to accept facts, a serious lack of knowledge about femininity and its great value, and an illogical obsession for "equality" to the extent of trying to force it into a context where it does not and cannot apply. It also shows lack of real concern for women, since it is not in their interests as child-bearers, and/or medically, physically, or psychologically.
THE CHURCH UNDER
ATTACK
The feminists even cause trouble in the Church: they have demanded and obtained the ordination of women deacons and priestesses, and regardless of the effect and the many valid objections. The examples of Jesus Christ in choosing only men as apostles (He would have included women had it been right), and the explicit instructions of St. Paul and St. Peter that women should not usurp authority over men, nor speak/preach in church, is ignored, as is 2000 years of Church doctrine and tradition. Not content with this some also want to introduce the concept of the female God: a wicked blasphemy, which perhaps reached its apogee in the "Christa" (a woman on the Cross) displayed for a time in New York Cathedral.
EDUCATION
Boys and girls should learn the value and validity of the different sex roles and should be educated accordingly. Girls should be encouraged into feminine type interests and jobs, not masculine ones, and their probable future vocation of wife and mother should not be devalued or ignored as at present. The National Union of Teachers, supported by the EOC, has had all school text books altered so as to remove all references to the natural sex roles, and some even wanted to show the roles reversed. This, and other, indoctrination of children with the unisex/feminist perversion must stop. Career guide books for school leavers totally ignore the existence of two sexes, and not a word is said about preparing for the important career of wife and mother.
The sexes are physically and psychologically different, as are their priorities, aptitudes, abilities and interests, and these sex differences should be encouraged and enhanced, not suppressed. Unisex does not lead to happiness or fulfilment, but to confusion, unnatural behaviour and often to psychiatric problems. The increase in female violence in mixed schools, and outside, the dramatic increase in female binge drinking is a direct result of the "equality" indoctrination and encouragement of girls to act like boys. The converse is true of boys, who are for the same reasons unchivalrous, and often irresponsible or effeminate. The deliberate indoctrination of children and young people with the totally unnatural doctrine of unisex/feminism is one of the greatest evils in society today.
Education should take full account of the sex differences. Boys and young men should, among other things, be encouraged to be masculine, chivalrous, and protective towards girls, and girls encouraged to respond and have confidence in their weaker sex feminine role and to know the joy of being female and feminine. This accords with nature and what is right, and leads to good and happy relationships, marriages, and families of the future.
PROMISCUITY,
ABORTION, HOMOSEXUALITY, ETC.
The undermining of the natural sex roles, attitudes, and standards in society also leads to promiscuity, abortion, transvestism (women dressing like men, and vice versa), and homosexuality. With regard to abortion, it is an appalling fact that in the United Kingdom alone over 200,000 perfectly healthy human babies are legally but deliberately killed each year in this way. The innocent unborn child is denied its inherent right to life. The culprits for this mass killing are the irresponsible men who cause the pregnancies, the 'career-comes-first', promiscuous or misguided women who are the mothers, and a government that legislates for it and thereby encourages it. So unnatural is abortion that many women suffer great grief at a later date. (Of course, there are very limited occasions when abortion may be medically essential).
As for homosexuality, this is clearly unnatural, as well as being contrary to scripture (Lev. 18:22, Rom. 1:27), yet many young people who could be 'cured', or who would not otherwise let inklings this way develop, are positively encouraged in this wrong, instead of being advised and helped to normality, as most could be.
PROPAGANDA IN THE
MASS MEDIA
It is unbelievably extensive, and much goes unrecognised as such. But it is a fact that whatever newspaper or magazine one picks up there is almost certain to be one or more articles about some feminist grievance, viewpoint or demand. Reports about young women doing masculine activities are always published and given prominence of place and praise. Research shows that for every forty articles promoting feminism in some way there will be, on average, only one promoting the feminine role in any way. Most women's magazines seem to give much of their space to the feminist perversion.
In television and radio, in educational talks, the child's sex is usually ignored, and virtually never is the girl's natural vocation of wife and mother mentioned. There are women's programmes, but these mostly put over the feminist line, and some are clearly for no other purpose than to promote some aspect of feminist 'doctrine' and for undermining femininity. The inherent bias is such that the opposite viewpoint is hardly ever allowed expression.
Most TV plays and films show women in roles displaying manly courage, daring and toughness, or in violent, gun-carrying, policing, domineering, aggressive, assertive, or other masculine/non-feminine type roles, and/or having authority over men or usurping their authority, or pushing some other feminist aim. Seldom in a modern play or film is a woman shown as being truly feminine or in a feminine role. Furthermore, directives have been issued that in every type of programme, be it news, or about oil rigs or engineering, every effort must be made to find a woman to appear and speak. Any idea that any subject may be more appropriate for men to deal with must be destroyed. Needless to say most of the women who do so appear are of the feminist variety ? and some with noticeably manly characteristics. By and large the feminists (of both the male and female sorts) have now got control of the mass media - mankind's most powerful propaganda weapon - and one wonders to what extent they will continue to pervert society with their unnatural doctrine over the coming years. Is there hope for a change? It is at least a sign of the validity and strength of the natural sex differences and roles that, in spite of the mass media propaganda, there are still some masculine men and feminine women about. Concerted effort is urgently needed, however, if right is to prevail.
FEMININE BEAUTY
Feminists try to discredit the attractive pleasing woman or girl by calling her a "sex-object", but to people endowed with normal sex feelings this is seen as no insult. It is natural for both sexes to try to please and attract the other, and with regard to feminine beauty, this is a quality of universal value admired by all normal people throughout the ages. To possess it is wonderful.
ERRONEOUS NOTIONS
Feminists are obsessed with the erroneous notion that every human activity must be done by both sexes and that their rights, duties, and requirements are the same. They are determined to push women into positions of power and into all male orientated positions. They want women to adopt the masculine characteristics of aggressiveness and assertiveness. They have complete contempt for femininity and feminine values, regardless of their intrinsic goodness and value. They neuter words, demand maternity leave and beds for men, they want to force all men and women into mixed hospital wards (regardless of the fact that this is repugnant to both men and women), they want law enforced wages for wives, and an end to the family as we know it. Their concept of marriage is grotesque, and they bring nothing but conflict and bitterness between the sexes. They want to encourage the development of effeminate men and masculine women in their obsession for equality and unisex. They are incapable of understanding that men and women have different priorities and interests. Unlike men, women do not have to make paid employment the central issue in life. A woman's status does not depend on profession or power. It is insulting to a woman to imply that she is nothing unless she apes men. Men and women are equally important but different: a fact of nature and of God's creation.
VALUE
OF THE SEXUAL POLARITIES, ETC.
The male-female polarities are an essential part of the individual's ego and the basis of love, romance, and happiness - perhaps the most important things in life. Masculine dominance and feminine submissiveness are natural and good, and in the case of married couples, St. Paul (Ephesians Chap.5) very beautifully likens the relationship to that of Christ and the Church. Animals only copulate, but in human beings it is the intensification and development of the psychological and intellectual differences between men and women which has created the sophisticated emotions of beauty, love, and romance, and put man so far above all other life on earth. The intensified sex differences have been, and are, the driving force and inspiration of almost every human endeavour and achievement. The sex differences should be, and must be, fully recognised and enhanced, not discredited and perverted.
These good and proper relationships also lead to the good and happy marriage, home and family. The family is the most basic and most important unit in human society, yet, as already indicated, its security and stability is threatened, and sometimes to breaking point, as a result of the Feminist / Unisex perversion. This threat must be extinguished.
CFW HOPES, ACTION
& SERVICE
The CFW's case cannot be fully stated in this pamphlet. However, it is hoped that its contents will generally educate and inform, be of interest and help to students and young people and guide them along the right paths, and that it will give support and confidence to the feminine woman or girl, of whatever age and occupation, who is so often under attack. It is also hoped that it will give encouragement and confidence to the wife and mother in the home (the Housewife), to the masculine man, and to the family. It is hoped that it will give women confidence in being feminine, and men confidence in being masculine. There is no doubt that the masculine man and the feminine woman, each with their distinctive attitudes and roles so invaluable to each other and to humanity, are the proper norm for human society, not the man-aping woman and the weak or effeminate man. History, the sciences (anatomy, physiology, psychology, etc.), and the Christian religion (including the Bible and Book of Common Prayer), are ALL at one on this.
The CFW seeks to mobilise public support and action for its objectives. It produces various leaflets and publications, it provides speakers (for schools, universities and other organisations), and it puts forward its case in the press and on radio and television, and it is often consulted by these and other bodies. As already stated, it also offers a service of advice and help to the public on request. The CFW relies entirely upon voluntary contributions, gifts and help, for carrying out its urgent task, and it is hoped that you will assist or give support in whatever way you can.
