A Message To
Young Adults The C.F.W. is a charitable organisation that provides an
alternative to the Women's Lib./Feminist view. It aims to encourage the natural sex
roles and a stable, happy family life and thus a more stable society. The
C.F.W. offers advice and practical help on any matter relating to the family,
or the roles of men and women within society. FACTS: 1. Men and women are not equal but they
are equally important human beings. 2. Men and women (and boys and girls) are
different in three main areas: biologically, psychologically and emotionally.
3. Men and women need each other for a fulfilling
life. POINTS TO PONDER: 1. A stable society is created by stable
homes and high moral and Christian standards. 2. No one can be totally independent: one
should consider duties towards others, not one's own selfish rights. 3. Women's Lib. Indoctrination is far more
pervasive and dangerous than communist or capitalist indoctrination. 4. Men and women are naturally intended
and designed to do different things and to excel in different spheres. 5. It is perverted and unnatural, as well
as unnecessary, to try to enable men to become pregnant. 6. If all married women in full time
employment gave up those jobs then there would be jobs for all the unemployed
men and single women in the country. 7. Marriage should be based on love and is
a once-only commitment for life: living together unmarried, divorces and
remarriages create wanderlust, dissatisfaction and unhappiness. 8. A husband's duty is to provide for and
protect his wife even to the point of death (as Christ did the Church). 9. A wife's duty is to be submissive and
obey her husband in the context of love (as the Church does Christ). 10.
A
married couple's duty is to live together in harmony and provide a good and
happy example to the next generation. DANGERS OF WOMEN'S LIB. /FEMINISM: 1. Women are encouraged to be dissatisfied
with their lot and to search for an elusive fulfilment. 2. Men and women are portrayed as being
involved in a battle of the sexes, rather than complementing each other as
they should. 3. Men are discouraged from being
responsible for their wives and families. 4. Women who are out at work cannot be
good wives or mothers because they do not have enough time. 5. Society is encouraged to be superficial
and selfish, seeking its own ends rather than thinking long term for the good
of mankind. 6. Men and women are encouraged to believe that they and their roles are interchangeable, which is untrue and impossible. This assertion merely creates more friction and unhappiness. |
